Alex Joseph joined Nonprofit New York in July 2022 as Programs Coordinator. Before joining, he served as a Case Manager for Mental Health Services at Project Renewal’s Next Step Program, where he supported individuals with mental health diagnoses in developing the skills needed to thrive in the workforce. At Project Renewal, Alex held various roles providing services to New York City’s homeless and low-income populations. Prior to this, he was an AmeriCorps VISTA member at the Hudson Valley Justice Center, where he contributed to fundraising, development, and communications efforts. Alex is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology and holds an M.P.A. from Capella University and a B.S. from the University of New Haven.
